Our Activities
The University of Cambodia will organize a Research Orientation, with the following topics: 1. How to Write a Master’s Project Report (MPR) 2. How to Write a Doctoral Dissertation Note: 1. $5 for all UC students. 2. For non-UC students, each participant pays $150 Certificate: Each participant in this Research Orientation program will receive a Certificate of Participation in this training session. The Research Orientation program will be organized at The University of Cambodia, with the following date and venue: Date: July 16, 2023 (from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm) Venue: Dr. Handa Hall For those who are interested in this training program, please start your registration early or contact us at 096 4707 307 or 093 777 226 via telegram.

Phnom Penh on the afternoon of July 7, 2023 The Office of Internal Quality Assurance and Accreditation (IQA) at The University of Cambodia (UC) organized an Awarding Ceremony to confer the certificates of participation on the IQA training workshop participants who successfully attended the 2-day training on 15 and 16 June 2023. There were 39 participants, and the objectives of the workshop were (1) to share knowledge and experience about IQA Systems of the Department of Higher Education, MoEYS to our team and faculty;(2) to provide awareness of IQA for Program Assessment for implementation and (3) to improve the quality and effectiveness of curriculum review, teaching and learning process. On this occasion, in the opening remarks, Mr. Pay Chheng How, Vice President for IQA, stressed that the culture of quality shall be engaged and supported by all stakeholders from the top management to both academic and non-academic staff. Furthermore, he added that IQA is the responsibility and accountability of each office, school, college and university as a whole. IQA plays an important role in improving the quality of teaching and learning, which requires daily and consistent implementation, practice, monitoring, evaluation and development. Thus, we need to take care of our staff, faculty members and students by equipping them with update-to-date skills and support for life-long learning.

On behalf of The University of Cambodia, the Soft Skills and Leadership Development Center (SSLDC) wishes to invite our students to participate in the “Public Speaking Training” workshop. This workshop aims to assist our students: (1) how to boost their self-confidence, (2) how to improve their speaking abilities, (3) how to strengthen their communication skills, and (4) how to enhance their leadership qualities.
