Samdech Techo Hun Sen-Haruhisa Handa National Scholarships 2009  
 
Phnom Penh, 2 December 2009: The University of Cambodia will convene the “Samdech Techo Hun Sen-Haruhisa Handa National Scholarships Award Ceremony” on Wednesday, December 16, 2009, starting at 3:30 p.m., at the National Institute of Education in Phnom Penh.  The ceremony will be under the high chairmanship of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
 
Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen and Dr. Haruhisa Handa will officially be present to award scholarships to outstanding high school students to be able to pursue their university studies. The Samdech Techo Hun Sen-Haruhisa Handa Scholarships 2009, which is being generously funded by World Mate, provides 500 students full-tuition to pursue their academic studies at the bachelor degree level at The University of Cambodia, the most prestigious university in the country.  The Samdech Techo Hun Sen-Haruhisa Handa National Scholarships 2009 is a part of The University of Cambodia\'s scholarship program aiming to reward exceptional students who have academically excelled in their high school studies and who have the potential to help promote exceptional human resource development in Cambodia. 
 
These National Scholarships, which are supported World Mate, will go a long way to support human resources development in Cambodia. Members of the press, parents, and students interested in the scholarship award ceremony are cordially invited to attend the event.
