The University of Cambodia wins the Cambodian Red Cross’ Debate


On April 23, 2015 at TVK, the University of Cambodia Debate Club members won a debate on “Youth and Road Safety”, organized by the Cambodian Red Cross promote road safety and to reduce accident rates in Cambodia; and to mark World Red Cross Red Crescent Day, which falls on May 8. Apart from UC, other participating higher education institutions were the University of Health Sciences, the Cambodian University for Specialties and Preah Kossomak Polytechnic Institute.


UC would like to congratulate the five debaters (Sok Sreymom, Menh Someta, Oeun Sreyliak, Soun Khanra and Van Dana) for their efforts in preparation for the debate, through their research and training in public speaking. We are also grateful to Mr. An Sopheak and Mr. Brendens Lek for helping with the preparation, and all UC supporters who attended the debate.
