2. COURSE NUMBERING

Level 500 Courses

These courses are primarily for Master’s-level students and, possibly, some advanced undergraduate students.

Level 600 Courses

These courses are primarily taught at the Master’s degree level.

Level 700 Courses

These courses are for advanced graduate students, primarily PhD students.

Level 800 Courses

These courses are specialized courses such as seminars, research and dissertation for PhD students.
