THE
UNIVERSITY OF CAMBODIA's
FOURTH
ANNUAL COMMENCEMENT
|
|
In
contrast to previous years, the Fourth Commencement was a all-day
event on the 16th October, 2008.
- the morning ceremony was held
in Chaktomuk Hall, when honorary doctorates were bestowed on Lok
Chumteav Bun Rany HunSen and two other deserving individuals -- Jose C. de Venecia, Jr.
and Professor Horst Posdorf;
whilst
- the afternoon ceremony was
held in the UC Conference Centre, with H.E. Im Sethy
(Minister of Education, Youth and Sport) as the Guest-of-Honour, when
our graduating students --
including our first successful doctoral candidate, Nem Sowath --
received their degrees in front of their parents and friends.
