The University of Cambodia is participating in a 3-year research project called CONTESSA, or Contemporary Teaching Skills for South Asia. CONTESSA’s goal is to establish a teacher education program that will ultimately equip current and future teachers with the skills needed to develop a wide range of teaching methods which they can in turn use to engage, empower and educate their students. In order to accomplish that goal, the European Union Commission has allocated a budget to purchase the necessary technical equipment for the project to succeed.
