What are your daily study habits?
“Normally I like to read books after school when I arrive home or am free at lunch time. I always read and review the lessons I just learned in class. After lunch, I will do my homework. Before I go to bed, I like to read as well. I study almost 3 hours every day.”

Do you do anything different when studying for a quiz or exam?
“For me, it depends on the subject. For example, principles of education is not really hard for me because I have read many books related to the subject, so no need to spend a lot of time on it. But for other subjects it is not the same, so I review the lessons, try to find the key words and to understand. I study for more time at the night and do group study to help me prepare.”

Do you study at another university or have a job or internship?
“No. I study at the University of Cambodia only. I don’t have a job or internship. I just try to focus a lot on my studies.”

How do you manage your time and schedule?
“I use a timetable to manage my studies and homework.”

Being a student can be a very stressful and busy time, how do you manage your health?
“As a student I am always stressed with my studies. Like assignments and homework, especially when the work is not done and if the work is not done and the deadline is coming close, it is very stressful. But for me I try to have fun things also. I like to talk with friends, do something funny, and walk with my family. All these activities can help me to get over stress; when I am happy, I will not stress. Moreover, I take care of my health, like sleep well, and live in a good environment.

What are your future plans?
“When I finish university, I wish to become a good teacher. Actually, I plan to teach at primary school, and if possible, I want to continue to Master’s degree.

What advice can you give to other students who are hoping to be more successful next term?
“I would advise them to spend more time on their studies. For example, we go to class only for one hour, but we have to self study at least 2 hours. While we study, sometimes we don’t understand, so we can underline or highlight the sentence or the point we don’t know, so the next class we can ask the teacher. Study every day, not just before the exam. If you wait until before the exam you will be stressful and you won’t remember anything.
