Future Developments
We are most fortunate that, through the generosity of World Mate, we have been able to secure the land out near Pochentong (see map below) and to construct a new building at the new site as the new campus of The University of Cambodia. Therefore, UC is sincere appreciate to the immense support and assistance provided by World Mate over the years.
After the ground-breaking ceremony, construction is under way, and we expect our brand-new, custom-designed campus to be ready by late 2011. Other new buildings which have already been completed include those for our Radio Southeast Asia and the soon-to-be inaugurated Southeast Asia Television. However additional funds are required for the construction of a larger Library building, together with student dormitories, on the remaining land available.
