News from Center for English Studies

CES is currently offering four updated English language courses. ‘FasTrax’ is still the major course with more than hundred students enrolled. However, the old textbook called World English will be replaced by skill books (listening, reading and writing skills), which will help students to learn faster with appropriate duration of 120 hours per term.

The ESL and Business English courses target those learners who are keen on improving their English at a slower pace to reach high proficiency. We have updated our programs, textbooks, learning hours and time to meet all learners and students’ needs. We are introducing “English in Mind” for ESL program along with supplementary materials. Please see the new brochure for more detail on these courses.

A completely new addition to CES is the offering of TOEFL & IELTS preparatory courses and Grammar Study, Listening & Speaking and Writing skills for specific learners.

New Term for all courses: 23 July, 2007 (Weekday) 28 July, 2007 (Weekend)

If you are planning to take the TOEFL or IELTS examination in the near future, please contact CES at ces@uc,edu.kh for more information on the preparatory courses on offer.
