Japanese Scholarship Students Learn About Cambodia Through UC
From July through early August, the following Japanese scholarship students visited UC to observe the culture and the structure of our university.
1. Mr. Kenshi Furushima
2. Miss Akane Ishikura
3. Miss Ayumi Okamoto
4. Miss Sakura Sasano
5. Mr. Kosuke Inazumi
“They are the first scholarship students that I as honorary consul selected from among many applicants, who have obtained the opportunity to visit and learn about Cambodia,” stated Dr. Haruhisa Handa, Chancellor of UC.
Dr. Handa had three main purposes for their visits.
1. The Japanese students would talk to several UC students about their situations in
Cambodia.
2. Take tours in the facilities and in the classrooms.
3. Obtain brochures or other written information on
UC.
According to Dr. Handa, “the students visiting the university will obtain useful information on what Japan should do for Cambodia in the future.”
